Yep, still alive

Ok, I know, I know.  It has been awhile since my last post.  I must confess that I don’t know where the time goes.  We had a thunderstorm earlier, but it still seems to be hot and humid out.  I think I need to move north for the summers.  I can’t deal with 90 degree temperatures with 80% humidity.  Oh, to be independently wealthy!!

The book front has been progressing nicely.  I have one last book to procure and read in Shannon McKenna’s McCloud brothers series.  Tam’s book was really good.  I am interested to see how she closes the series with Kevin’s book.  I just started one of Susan Donovan’s books, Knock me off my feet.  It is about Audie and her stalker threats.  Of course, there is the handsome Quinn who is her sexy savior detective.  It has been a good story that keeps one’s attention.  Falls into the “Hard to Put Down” category!  After a quick check this morning, I have about 50 pages to go.

I am so psyched!!  Eclipse is less than 48 hours away!!  I am going to a midnight show with some girls from the Pier.  It will totally rock – I can’t wait!  I finally saw some previews, and I am so ready.  It looks like it is going to be really, really good.

No running tonight.  I am planning on a gym workout once I get home from work.  Cross your fingers that I stay motivated…

Oh, one complaint before I close.  I got “Soak-off” nails.  Anyone heard of them??  Well, if you wanted to try them, let me save you some $$ – don’t.  They aren’t worth the price.  Mine are looking horrible after a week and a half.  Then, to pay $45 for a fill-in.  Nope, don’t think so!
