Are we sure it isn’t Monday?

Cause it feels like a Monday to me!

I am blessed to have enjoyed a nice weekend with my folks and with a special nephew. He’s about 6 months old now and was happy as could be on Friday. I had a lovely afternoon watching him, feeding him, and thankfully not changing him! I got his picture added to my post, but now I can’t figure out how to move it around – grr!!

I got some new yarn while I was away. The one color is very much like pumpkin spice. I hope to make a cabled scarf out of it. I actually picked up a pattern, which doesn’t appear to be too difficult. I’m sure Willow will have fun when I decide to wind it into a ball.

A big shout-out to all our veterans and servicemen and women for all that they do for our Country – I was definitely thinking about them yesterday. I did get to spend some time at the pool, but I limited my self. Freckles are fine, but sunburn is not.

Not much happening on the writing front – there has been no time! I am well into my short story for our anthology. I think it is coming along quite nicely. I have to finish up an action scene, and then the first draft will be finished – way ahead of schedule if all goes well!! Speaking of writing and books, I picked up the new Kate Daniels book at lunch today – Magic Slays. I am very excited to start reading it. I just love Kate and Curran! I’m sure that there will be lots of action and even some biting remarks from Kate – maybe even some biting from Curran, the Beast Lord! LOL
