Successful Day

So I have to admit…my duet went awesome today at church! Of course, I kept telling myself that it was all about Bob since he was singing. No one was going to listen to me playing (say it enough, and the brain will buy it!). I only made one mistake in the 10 page piece and that was near the end when I took the time to think about the fact that I hadn’t made a mistake. Note to self: Lapses in concentration are never good.

Overall, it has been a very positive past couple of days. I found out that the sequel to An Intoxicating Interlude will be featured on dailylove.net on September 16th. It is titled Stars and Sparks and is about Channing and Nicca’s first date. You won’t want to miss it! My friends have convinced me to make this a trilogy so I am currently seeking inspiration for the third piece…could get interesting, just don’t want it to be a cliché.

Last but not least, I finished an incredible book yesterday. It is titled Cold Touch. It is the second book in the Extrasensory Agents series by Leslie Parrish. Talk about a romantic thriller. The book rocked in every area! Plus, how could you not love Gabe and Liv?? Oh, and don’t let me forget Ty (especially at the end). The chemistry between Det. Gabe Cooper and Olivia was incredible – right from the start when he saves her from being struck by a car. Olivia had such a bad experience when she was  teenager, but she was able to overcome it and grow from it. And Gabe was right there with her. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the series.
