Almost bedtime

I wanted to do a quick update before I crawl under the covers to read The Cove by Catherine Coulter.

Had a productive voice lesson tonight. I’m trying to cram as much as possible into two lessons before my audition. I was hoping to do more voice lessons over the summer. but playing the piano got in the way! LOL As long as I don’t make a fool out of myself at the audition, I will be fine – even if I don’t make the cut this time around.

Got some more feedback on my Tumbling Forward in Time story. It is really coming along nicely. I’m very happy with my characters – Tasha, a human, Arikk, a wizard, and Rafe, a fallen angel. With any luck it will be published in an anthology in time for Christmas.

I finished the first book in the Mercedes Thompson series today. It is Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. I really liked Mercy. She ranks up there with Kate Daniels. I was impressed with how Mercy stuck by her friends despite the danger to herself. It was nice that the book included all kinds of supernatural creatures. I can’t wait to read more of her adventures. I am hoping that Adam, Samuel, and Zee will be included as well.

On that note, good night! I hope to get up and run in the morning. Cross your fingers for me, please.
