Where did the weekend go?

Ugh, I need to be in bed, but I feel as though I have a lot to accomplish before I can hit the sack for some shut-eye. I don’t know where the weekend went – or the last week for that matter! Time is flying, and things are falling to the side. Not good.

Still managing to read. I’m really starting to wonder if I have been picking not so great books of late or if I’m becoming a more particular reader the more I learn about writing. I’m finding issues with books – i.e., lots of head hopping in The Cove by Catherine Coulter. I’m not seeing the humor in A Girl’s Guide to Vampires by Kate MacAlister. Plus, I think her main character and her BFF spend most of their time bickering. I’ll leave it at that. On a more refreshing note, I’m really enjoying A Certain Wolfish Charm by Lydia Dare. I’m not usually into historical romance/ paranormal books, but this one is entertaining with interesting characters. She has a good balance.

Sorry for racing through this post, but I really need to get to sleep. 5 AM will be here before I know it. Good night!
