Saturday Snow

Yep, it’s October and the white stuff is falling. Surprised, huh?! I haven’t decided if I’m happy about this or not. Given that I didn’t feel like driving in the mess today, I got some reading done.

I started reading On the Prowl. It is an anthology, whose stories are more paranormal romance rather than urban fantasy. Gee, and given my reading preferences of late, whom do you think is included?? Yep, you got it: Patricia Briggs. Her story is Alpha and Omega. I liked that it still incorporated the Mercedes Thompson setting (although it was Chicago), but I liked that the we got to learn about Charles. This is a series, which I am going to have to explore.

Well, enough doddling on the internet. I have an urban fantasy story of my own to edit, and a horror short story that needs a clever ending. I definitely have my work cut out for me! Good thing NaNoWriMo is right around the corner. I have lots of topics to make my word count!
