Impatient for New Releases

I just finished reading Fair Game by Patricia Briggs. It is the third book in the Alpha and Omega series. I just love Charles and Anna. In this book, Anna has really come into her own. She shows she truly is a fitting mate to the Marrok’s son. It led me to wondering when some of my favorite series will have new reads released.

Starting with the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews…Gunmetal Magic is slated for July 31, 2012. This will be Andrea’s book. Gonna be good!! Kate #6 (as yet untitled) is expected in February 2013. Can’t wait for more sassy Kate and overbearing Curran.

The next book in the Mercy Thompson series isn’t scheduled until Spring 2013. We will have to wait way too long for Frost Burned. Darn it!! There aren’t any upcoming releases mentioned in the Alpha and Omega series.

Looks like Jeaniene Frost will be releasing a book that is a spin-off of the Night Huntress series. Once Burned will be the first book in the Night Prince series. It will be released on June 26, 2012. I’m psyched that hunky Vlad will be getting his own book. Yay!

Thank goodness – we don’t have too long to wait for Biting Cold. Book number six in the Chicagoland Vampires series is set to be released August 7, 2012. Woot woot! Can’t wait for more Merit and Ethan. Check out Chloe Neill’s site for a brief synopsis of the book: http://www.chloeneill.com/?page_id=801

  1. I too really loved ‘Fair Game’ .. and from what I understand on her website she puts only one book out a year. So that was this year, and the Mercy book will be 2013.. maybe the next ‘Alpha & Omega book’ will be 2014. 😦 []so far away[]

  2. Maybe I can spend the time waiting for the next Mercy Thompson novel to come out by reading the three in between I skipped. I’ve read “Moon Called”, “Blood Bound”, and then “River Marked”. I saw it in the store and couldn’t NOT buy it. If only Barnes and Noble weren’t so far away….
I LOVED Fair Game! Briggs’ Alpha and Omega Series is my favorite.
