Happy Movie Hump Day!

Wow! This week seems like it is dragging! Can the weekend get here already??

I’ve been in movie-mode of late. I went to see Skyfall, the latest James Bond release, last weekend. This is the first Bond movie I’ve seen with Daniel Craig as Bond. I have to admit (even after seeing this movie) that Sean Connery is still my favorite Bond. Some of my favorites include: Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, and For Your Eyes Only (yes, I realize this is a Roger Moore flick).

Skyfall was action filled with lovely Bond ladies and a nattily dressed Bond. I have already downloaded the soundtrack – yep, the music was great, too! One gripe was making Craig look like an “older” Bond. While I know we humans age – we’re not all like the vamps in Twilight – I never image Bond as having gray hair or being slowed by aching knees.

I totally loved the Jaguar XJ that M was chauffeured in; however, what made my day was when Bond backed out the Aston Martin DB5. While I’m not a huge car buff, the sight of that car was enough to make me swoon! Check out this article in Motor Trend about the cars used in the film – very interesting!

This weekend I will be glued to the big screen, watching The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II. The movie’s website can be found here. I am very much looking forward to seeing Bella best Emmett arm wrestling. Plus, I’m sure the final battle will not disappoint. Bella is going to have a blast as a young vampire with loads of strength and tons of control. I’m all about Team Edward even though I’m sure the wolfpack will shine in the battle against the Volturi. Sorry, Jacob!
